Toyah Lyrics here!
From a magazine photo actually taken upside down with her lying on the floor if you see what I mean

Detail from The Changeling LP sleeve

From the Ieya! 12 inch single

Taken from the Phoenix CD sleeve (1997!)

That painting from the Anthem sleeve. Fits very neatly with all of her other-planet warrioress type songs.

Bondage with severe gothic overtones (or should that be 'severe bondage with...'? Whatever, bet she didn't expect to end up tied to the gatepost all night, mean to say, only stopped by to ask for a spare cup of sugar, dammit!). The cover of the Blue Meaning sleeve.

From the back of The Changeling sleeve, the one with the scary eyes. Or should that be 'scary hair'? Nope, for my money the eyes have it...

From 'Four More From Toyah' EP.

The result of yet another 12-hour makeover marathon. From the 'It's A Mystery' single sleeve.
The albums 'Anthem' and 'The Changeling' were re-released on CD (hooray!), and include several extra tracks in additon to the original tracks
In addition each has a CD-ROM video to play on your PC. 'Anthem' includes 'I want To Be Free', and 'The Changeling' has 'Thunder In The Mountains':

In 'Thunder In The Mountains', a future decaying society (in typical punk style) is under the oppressive rule of an evil sorcerer. Toyah leaves the fireside of the downtrodden peasants with an idea to overthrow the wicked regime but first she needs a weapon...

...To begin with, she knows where there is a chariot made from the front half of an old car (and get a load of the hair).

Thus equipped and armed with a bow (see right of chariot), she bursts out into the daylight to do battle with the wizard (and stop whipping that horse)

Fending off a barrage of what appear to be marbles delivered by magical means (we must assume), Toyah succeeds in smashing open the castle gates with exploding arrows, an act which in itself causes the evil wizard to disappear in a flash...

...she bursts out into the open to ride across the land delivering messages attached to arrows, Robin Hood style, to spread the good news that the world is saved. What a woman...

In 'I Want To Be Free', despite what anyone else says Toyah is not getting married. No way. Not a chance. Never. Over her dead body.

After destroying the wedding cake...

... she starts on the furniture and the flowers...

...suffice to say the inlaws are not amused
Further to the above, as of about 2003, both Sheep Farming In Barnet and The Blue Meaning have been released on a double CD by Safari. I should think so too...
