Vertical Mounting 100W Amp Mains Transformer
	Order No. VT1042V Price £115.70 Vertical mounting version of VT1042 having 2 steel covers with feet for mounting on top of a chassis top panel. Concentric wound with earth ('electrostatic') screen between primary and secondaries, and flexible leads. Lead out colours/voltages are marked on the transformer label. Includes 75V bias winding for fixed bias of output valves if required. HT has 375V and 450V taps for making amplifiers of 20 - 30W (375V/KT66/EL34/KT88), 50W (450V/KT88), or 100W (450V/4 x KT88), including smoothing choke and optional valve rectifier if desired, see applications. Ideal for a single PSU powering stereo pairs up to 50W per channel. Suitable for 120 – 240V 50 or 60 Hz operation. Note 2 req.d for a stereo pair over 50W per channel. Also suitable for choke input supplies, using e.g. VT1131 or VT1133 10 H choke, where the 450V taps can provide approximately 390V DC on the reservoir. For 120V mains operation, parallel the primary windings, i.e. join black/red together and brown/orange together, apply the 120VAC across black and brown. For 240V operation, join red to brown (and insulate the connection!), and apply 240VAC across black and orange.
