Brian Wilson's EMIS HVA1 stereo amplifier has solid-state input stages. Output is push-pull EL34. This is a production item and received a good review in Hi-Fi World magazine.

"The GZ34 version of the Maplin Millennium 4-20 that was originally published in the Maplin magazine was a great success. I built it using tagboards rather than PCB's but it looks good (I had it laser cut and powder painted in a local factory for next to nothing) and it sounds great."

"Hello Mike,
"Thank you for those nice Danbury transformers. I am impressed about low end performing of those transformers, getting absolutely linear down to 15Hz.
"For today I got the amp up and running based on those Tx. If you may interested you can see some images about creating the system here:

"It is a full home stereo system, including FM tuner, CD- and MP3 players and also a tube phono preamp. Of course the heart is the tube amplifier based on VT1041 and 807 output tubes. There is no GNFB involved in this case.
"One more thank you! I will suggest your service and your products for every person interested in Estonia."
